Practices all areas of marital and family law, including dissolution of marriage, paternity, modification and termination of alimony, contempt proceedings, and pre-nuptial agreements. 

Chief Ethics Officer and Attorney, Florida Dept. of Education (2016 - 2023)

Represented the Department in expansive areas of law, including contract negotiations, labor and employment disputes, education management and security concerns, intellectual property, real property, and issues relating to the interpretation, application, and administration of Florida law. Provided counsel on ethics and operational matters. 

Deputy Chief Attorney, Florida Dept. of Business & Professional Regulation (2013 – 2016)

Represented the Department in complex and high value litigation, from administrative complaints through appellate proceedings, including writs. Provided counsel on declaratory statements, variances, compliance, enforcement, rulemaking, and policy writing. 

Volunteer Attorney, Legal Aid Foundation (2017 – 2023)

Represented lower income persons in family law proceedings including establishment of paternity, dissolution of marriage, and mediation. 

Family Law Mediator

Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator (2024 – Present).

Mediates cases for family law litigants to assist in resolving the pending issues without the need for litigation.

PARENTING COORDINATOR (2016-CURRENT)

Assists parents in implementing a parenting plan, resolving disputes, and provides education to parents to lessen the negative effects of discord on their children.
